Leveling Frame Front-to-Rear
Refer to Figure 6
1. Use the tractor 3-point to raise or lower the
planter hitch to achieve 40”. Measure from the
front top edge of the planter tongue to the sur-
face of the ground.
2. Set the tractor 3-point lever stop so the hitch
will return to this level after each cycle.
NOTE: 40” is the base height which Great Plains
has determined will achieve a level row-unit in
field operation.
