30. Slide supplied Mirror onto windshield mounting tab.
Use a T20 Torx driver to tighten the existing screw
to 1.8 Nm (16 lb-in) and cannot exceed 2.2 Nm
(19.5 lb-in). (Figure 20)

31. Plug mirror harness into back of rear view mirror.
32. Route supplied Mirror Harness down the driver’s side
A-pillar and through hole in the end of dashboard
(Figure 21)

33. Remove the front driver’s side sill plate by lifting it at
the rear and working your way forward with your
hands to release the mounting clips. (Figure 22)

34. Remove the front driver’s side kick panel by lifting at
the bottom and working your way upwards to
release the mounting clips. (Figure 23)

35. Remove M-BEC electrical cover under the dashboard by
popping it off with your hands. (Figure 24)

36. Have an assistant set parking brake, start vehicle,
and shift into Reverse. Using a digital multimeter,
check for reverse signal in Cavity 5 of the light gray
C11/ X11 Connector OR in Cavity 8 of the gray C10/
X10 Connector in the M-BEC. (Figures 25, 26 & 27)
