1. Verify the processor type using diagnostic status. (For more on

2. Place the PLC-5 processor in Program or Remote
program mode using set CPU mode or the keyswitch on the front
of the processor. (For more on set CPU mode,

3. Place the PLC-5 processor in Download mode using download all
request. (For more on download all request, see page
7–7 .)
4. Send PLC-5 memory information to the appropriate physical
addresses in PLC-5 memory using write bytes physical with the
information stored in the archive file from the upload procedure.

5. Exit Download mode using download complete. (For more on
