Inserting symbols
You can select and paste symbols using the Symbol Explorer.
To open the character map, select View > Symbols to open the Symbol Explorer.

Click on the symbol you want to paste.

Move the mouse to the field you want to contain the symbol.

Hold down the left mouse button and drag to create a rectangle. The symbol is pasted in the
field.

You can resize the symbol by clicking on it once and dragging the corners to make the
rectangle larger or smaller.
Alternatively:

Select the field in which you want to paste the symbol.

Double-click on the symbol that you want to paste.
The view of the symbol can be adjusted via the property "Size" (see chapter
"Adjust properties - Behavior").
Snapping elements to the grid
To specify that you want the elements to snap or not to snap to the gridlines, click on the main
menu, select View > Grid > Snap To Grid.
The grid must be visible (Menu View > Grid >Show).
