TEST Button
You can test the printer or print the list of fonts with the Test button. To
do so, hold down the Shift button and press the Test button. You will
then enter the test mode where you can test the printer or print the list of
fonts.
To test the printer, follow these steps:
1. Press the
Sel button to take the printer off-line.
2. Hold down the
Shift button and press the Test button.
When you enter test mode, the display shows the first test
mode item.
3. Press the ▲ or ▼ button until the test mode you want appears
on the display.
Display Message Test Mode
DEMO PAGE Prints the demonstration page.
TEST PRINT Performs the printer test and prints the
test pattern.
PRINT CONFIG Prints the list of control panel settings
you have configured for the printer as
user settings.
PRINT FONTS I Prints the list of internal or resident
fonts.
PRINT FONTS C Prints the list of optional fonts stored in
the font card.
PRINT FONTS P Prints the list of permanent download
fonts.
exit Exits from the test mode. The printer
does not perform the test.
