1.3 Features of Internet Fax
Internet Fax sends and receives scanned originals via intranet and Internet
as E-mail attached files (TIFF format). The communication cost can be sig-
nificantly reduced by communicating via intranet/Internet as compared to
the general fax communication,

Mail server is necessary.
Transmits the Fax after E-mail address of the recipient is specified.
Receive the E-mail from mail server.
