Periodically, updates to your EDGE EVO Solo Hi-O Module firmware may be available. Firmware
is the “software” inside the EDGE EVO Solo Hi-O Modules that makes them work.
The email message will include a link to download the file from a web site.
To update your firmware:
1. In the Module Update area, click Browse to navigate to the update file.
2. Select the update file and click Open.
3. Click Update Now.
• The update can take up to seven minutes to complete.
• The management console page will close.
Managing Multiple Doors
EDGE EVO Solo can be converted to become part of a larger, host-based security system, avail-
able through HID development partners. This range of solutions offers both options available for
purchase or fully managed solutions available on a monthly fee basis. Benefits of this upgrade
