AMBER PARTITION—Steady illumination indicates that the port has a
valid link and is partitioned.
AMBER COLLISION—Flashing illumination indicates that the port has
a valid link and that there are collisions on the port.

following conditions may be occurring:
1.
Network device at other end is turned OFF (transmitter is inactive).
2.
Cable is damaged or broken, or attenuation is too high (i.e., too little
light is being received because the cable is too long).
3.
RX Port has failed.
4.
The cabling is incorrect. The RX Port is not connected to TX at the other
end, and you need to reverse the connectors.
