INSTALLING THE BUTTON-TYPE BATTERY
Installation for the internal clock (battery release) switch
1. Open the LCD screen, then slide the BATT. (battery release) switch in
the arrow direction to remove the battery pack.
2. Remove the battery cover.
3. Replace the button-type battery then place the battery cover back.
- Position the button type battery with the positive (+) terminal face
out in the button type battery slot.
Battery installation for the internal clock
The button type battery maintains the clock function and preset contents of
the memory : even if the battery pack or AC power adapter is removed.
The button type battery for the DVD camcorder lasts about 6 months under
normal operation from the time of installation.
When the button type battery becomes weak or dead, the date/time indicator
will display “ JAN/01/2008 12:00 AM” when you turn the date and time
display on.
Installing the button-type battery in the remote control
(SC-DX105 only)
1. Turn the battery holder counterclockwise (as indicated with () mark)
using your fi ngernail or a coin to open it. The battery holder opens.
2. Insert the battery into the battery holder with the positive (+) terminal
facing down and press it fi rmly until you hear a locking sound.
3. Place the battery holder back in the remote control, matching its ()
mark with the () mark on the remote control, and turn the battery
holder clockwise to lock it.
Precautions regarding the button type battery
• There is a danger of explosion if button type battery is incorrectly
replaced. Replace only with the same or equivalent type.
• Do not pick up the battery using tweezers or other metal tools.
This will cause a short circuit.
• Do not recharge, disassemble, heat or immerse the battery in
water to avoid the risk of explosion.
WARNING
Keep the button type battery out of the reach of the
children. Should any battery be swallowed, seek
medical attention immediately.

INSTALACIÓN DE LA PILA DE BOTÓN
Instalación para el reloj interno (interruptor de liberación de la pila)
1. Abra la pantalla LCD y deslice el interruptor BATT. (liberación de la
pila) en la dirección de la fl echa para retirar la pila.
2. Retire la tapa del objetivo.
3. Sustituya la pila de botón y vuelva a colocar la tapa de la pila.
- Coloque la pila de botón con el terminal positivo (+) hacia fuera
en su ranura.
Instalación de la pila para el reloj interno
La pila de botón mantiene la función de reloj y el contenido predefi nido
de la memoria : incluso aunque se quite la batería o el adaptador de
alimentación de CA.
La pila de botón de la videocámara con DVD dura aproximadamente seis
meses en condiciones normales de funcionamiento.
Cuando se debilite o se agote la pila de botón, el indicador de fecha
y hora mostrará “JAN/01/2008 12:00 AM” (ENE/01/2008 12:00 AM.)
cuando tenga activada la visualización de fecha y hora.
Instalación de la pila de botón en el mando a
distancia (sólo SC-DX105)
1. Gire el compartimento de la pila hacia la izquierda como se indica
con la marca () utilizando la uña o una moneda para abrirlo. Se
abrirá el compartimento de la pila.
2. Inserte la pila en su soporte con el terminal (+) positivo hacia
abajo y presiónelo fi rmemente hasta que oiga un sonido
de cierre.
3. Coloque el soporte de la pila en el mando a distancia de forma que
coincida la marca () con la marca () del mando a distancia y
gire el soporte de la batería en sentido inverso a la dirección de las
agujas del reloj para bloquearlo.
Precauciones relacionadas con la pila de botón
• Existe peligro de explosión si la pila de botón se coloca de forma
incorrecta. Cambie la pila sólo por una igual o de especifi caciones
equivalentes.
• No agarre la batería utilizando pinzas u otras herramientas
metálicas. Esto provocará un cortocircuito.
• Para evitar riesgos de explosión, no recargue, desmonte, caliente ni
sumerja la batería en agua.
ADEVERTENCIA
Mantenga la pila de botón fuera del alcance de los
niños. So se produce la ingestión de la batería,
busque asistencia médica inmediatamente.
