MANTENIMIENTO
La videocámara con DVD es un producto de diseño y trabajo superior y debe tratarse con
cuidado. Las sugerencias que se incluyen a continuación le ayudarán a cumplir con las
obligaciones de la garantía y le permitirán disfrutar de este producto durante muchos años.
• Para la conservación de la videocámara con DVD, apague la videocámara con DVD.

Precauciones de conservación
• No deje la videocámara con DVD durante un tiempo prolongado en un lugar en
el que la temperatura sea muy alta:
La temperatura dentro de un vehículo cerrado puede ser muy alta en verano. Si deja
la videocámara con DVD en un lugar de estas características, podría sufrir una avería
o podría dañarse la carcasa. No exponga la videocámara con DVD a la luz directa del
sol ni la coloque cerca de un calentador.
• No almacene guarde la videocámara con DVD en un lugar en el que la humedad
sea alta o en un lugar polvoriento:
La entrada de polvo en la videocámara con DVD podría causar averías. Si la humedad
es alta, el objetivo podría enmohecerse y la videocámara con DVD podría quedar
inoperativa. Se recomienda colocar la videocámara con DVD en una caja junto con
una bolsa pequeña de sílice al guardarla en un armario, etc.
• No guarde la videocámara con DVD en lugares sometidos a fuerte magnetismo
o a intensas vibraciones:

Limpieza. la videocámara con DVD
• Antes de limpiarla, apague la videocámara con DVD y retire la batería y el
adaptador de alimentación de CA.
Para limpiar el exterior
Límpiela con un paño suave seco. No aplique fuerza excesiva al limpiar, frote con
suavidad la superficie.
- No utilice benceno o disolvente para limpiar la videocámara. El revestimiento del
exterior podría desprenderse o podría deteriorarse la carcasa.
Para limpiar la pantalla LCD
Límpiela con un paño suave seco. Tenga cuidado de no dañar el monitor.
Para limpiar el objetivo
Utilice un ventilador opcional para eliminar la suciedad y otros objetos pequeños. No
limpie el objetivo con tela ni con los dedos. Si es necesario, limpie suavemente con
papel para limpieza de objetivos.
- Es posible que se forme moho si se deja el objetivo sucio.
- Si el objetivo parece más oscuro, apague la videocámara con DVD y déjela
descansar durante una hora aproximadamente.

Your DVD camcorder is a product of superior design and craftsmanship and should be treated
with care. The suggestions below will help you fulfil any guarantee obligations and allow you to
enjoy this product for many years.
• For safekeeping of the DVD camcorder, turn off the DVD camcorder.
- Remove the battery pack and AC power adaptor. pages 16, 18
- Remove the memory card and DVD disc. pages 32, 52
Cautions when storing
• Do not leave the DVD camcorder in a place where the temperature is very high for a
long period of time:
The temperature inside a closed vehicle or trunk can become very high in a hot season.
If you leave the DVD camcorder in such a place, it could malfunction or the case could be
damaged. Do not expose the DVD camcorder to direct sunlight or place it near a heater.
• Do not store the DVD camcorder in a place where the humidity is high or in a dusty
place:
Dust entering the DVD camcorder could cause malfunctions. If humidity is high, the
lens could become moldy, and the DVD camcorder could become inoperative. It is
recommended that you put the DVD camcorder in a box together with a small silica bag
when storing it in a closet, etc.
• Do not store the DVD camcorder in a place subject to strong magnetism or intense
vibration:
This could cause malfunctions.
• Detach the battery pack from the DVD camcorder and store it in a cool and dry place:
Leaving the battery pack attached or storing it at high temperatures could shorten its life.
Cleaning the DVD camcorder
• Before cleaning, turn off the DVD camcorder and remove the battery pack and AC
power adaptor.
To clean the exterior
Wipe gently with a soft dry cloth. Do not apply excessive force when cleaning, gently rub the
surface.
- Do not use benzene or a thinner to clean the camcorder. The coating of exterior could
peel off or the case could deteriorate.
To clean the LCD screen
Wipe gently with a soft dry cloth. Be careful not to damage the screen.
To clean the lens
Use an optional air blower to blow out dirt and other small objects. Do not wipe the lens with
cloth or your finger. If necessary, wipe gently with lens cleaning paper.
- Mold may form if the lens is left dirty.
- If the lens looks dimmer, turn off the DVD camcorder and leave it for about 1 hour.
