Determining the Current Firmware Versions
Before upgrading firmware, be sure to determine which firmware version is currently loaded on the
UDM hub and receiver.
Open the UDM-0102’s WebConsole, and click on the Setup link to invoke the main Setup page. The
firmware version currently loaded n the UDM-0102 is indicated at the top of the page (FIG. 81).
Alternatively, you can retrieve firmware version information in a Command Line session:
Establish a Command Line session with either the UDM-0102 or UDM-RX02 and type a period (“.”).
This will return the current firmware version.
Alternatively, type ?
version and UDM-RX02 Firmware version (if one is attached).
You can also type Setup at the UDM-0102 Command Line prompt to enter Setup mode to view firmware
information.
Upgrading Firmware and Web Pages On a UDM-0102

Ensure the TFTP client has been installed on the PC which will be used to send files to the hub.
Install tftp client if necessary, consulting with Endeleo support as to the appropriate client.

Run the TFTP client.

Start a command session on the PC. Change to the directory where the .ROM files are stored on the
PC e.g. cd\hub.

Type in the following command at the prompt observing the parameters below;
tftp –i [ip address of UDM-0102] PUT [filename.ROM] (FIG. 82)
For example, typing in tftp –i 192.168.0.96 PUT FUDM129.ROM will upload the file
FUDM129.ROM to the UDM hub with IP address 192.168.0.96.

Once the command has been typed in, push Enter to execute the command.

Firmware version info
Since the UDM-RX02 does not have it’s own WebConsole, a Command Line session
is the only way to view current firmware version information for the receiver.
The following procedures can also be used to upgrade the Web Page archive on the
UDM-0102. Replace filenames appropriately.
