Renaming the Output Ports
For easier management, the system allows the Administrator to rename the Output ports.
1.
Click on the Port hyperlink on the Status page to invoke the Port Configuration page.
2.
Name the port as desired, via the Port Name text field (FIG. 35).
Video Compensation Guidelines
Some guidelines on compensating video are listed below, as well as information on compensating video
on LCD panels. The guidelines focus on;
Video Compensation - Basic Mode
1.
Select Control from the options at the top of the Status page to access the Control page (see
FIG. 26 on page 25).
2.
Select the Port hyperlink to access the basic video compensation options shown in FIG. 36.

Renaming a Port
Skew
Endeleo recommends that the video compensation is first adjusted to eliminate
any skew, using vertical red / green / blue lines.
Brightness
Once any skew has been eliminated the video should be adjusted for brightness
using a grey scale or equivalent test card.
Sharpness
Finally the sharpness of the video should be adjusted eliminating any over or
under shoot of the video. Horizontal black and white bars are one useful method
of tuning sharpness.
LCD screens have a tendency to automatically try and compensate the video,
presenting issues when adjusting for skew. Using a CRT monitor to adjust video
quality is often the best way around this.
