Firmware Information

The Firmware Information table contains firmware version information for the following:

System ROM

iLO

NOTE:

Firmware information is displayed only for iLO 4.

Power Management Controller

Smart Array Controller

Newsfeed

The Newsfeed tab provides a history of events and messages related to a host, including messages
related to discovery and communication using the provided credentials for that host.

The Newsfeed table contains:

Status—Message status. For descriptions of each status value, see

“Status values” (page 26)

Message—Description of the event that has occurred.

Source—IP address or DNS name of the device that generated the event.

Date and Time—Date and time the event occurred (in both local time and GMT).

To delete a message, select it, and then click the Delete button.

Host

The Host tab provides inventory, performance and health status information for the selected host,
presented in several tables.

Host Information

The Host Information table contains:

Server Name—Server name defined by the host operating system or defined in the iLO GUI.

Product—Product name of the host.

Enclosure Slot—Bay number where the host is located, if it is a blade server. Otherwise not
applicable.

UUID—Universally Unique Identifier assigned when the host was manufactured.

Serial Number—Server serial number, which is assigned when the host was manufactured.

iLO Address—Network IP address of the iLO subsystem.

iLO License—Level of licensed iLO functionality.

iLO Firmware—Version and date of the installed iLO firmware.

Host Power Status—Power status of the host (ON, OFF).

UID Light—State of the UID light (ON, OFF, FLASHING).

CPUs—Number of populated CPU sockets in the host.

Memory—Total amount of RAM in the host.

NICs—Number of available network interfaces on the motherboard (this does not include PCIe
cards or MEZZ cards).

System ROM—Host BIOS type and date.

Backup ROM—Host backup BIOS type and date.
