External Storage Systems tab
Only the external storage systems to which the external volume assigned to the user belongs and
the external storage systems that are connected with the port assigned to the user are displayed.
Description Item
Vendor, model, and serial number of the external storage system. Vendor / Model / Serial Number
When the link is clicked, it changes to a top window when the external each
storage system is selected.
Status of external storage systems. Status
•
Normal: It is normal.
• Disconnect: Connecting to the external storage system or the external volume
is intentionally stopped using the Disconnect External Storage Systems
command or the Disconnect External Volumes command.
•
Checking:The checking of the mapping path status is in progress.
•
Unknown: The status of the mapping path is unknown.
• Cache Destage: The writing of data from cache memory to the volume is in
progress.
•
Warning: There are mapping paths whose status is not normal. Check the
status of the mapping paths in the View External LUN Properties window.
• Blockade: The mapping path is blocked.
•
Destage Failed: The writing of data from cache memory to the volume is
failed.

The port number in the local storage system connecting to the external storage
system. Port ID
Identification number of the port in the external storage system. External WWN
Vendor, model, and serial number of the external storage system. Vendor / Model / Serial Number
Status of external paths. Status
• Normal: It is normal.

Disconnect: Connecting to the external path is intentionally stopped using the
Disconnect External Paths command.
• Checking: The checking of the external path status is in progress.
•
Unknown: The status of the external path is unknown.
