Mapped Volumes tab
Only the external volumes assigned to the user are displayed.
Description
Item
Displays parity group numbers.
Parity Group ID
Status of external volumes.
Status
•
Normal: It is normal.
•
Disconnect: Connecting to the external storage system or the external volume
is intentionally stopped using the Disconnect External Storage Systems
command or the Disconnect External Volumes command.
•
Checking: The checking of the mapping path status is in progress.
•
Unknown: The status of the mapping path is unknown.
•
Cache Destage: The writing of data from cache memory to the volume is in
progress.
•
Warning: There are mapping paths whose status is not normal. Check the
status of the mapping paths in the View External LUN Properties window.
•
Blockade: The mapping path is blocked.
•
Destage Failed: The writing of data from cache memory to the volume is
failed.
LDEV ID of the top LDEV created in the external volume.
Top LDEV ID
LDEV name of the top LDEV created in the external volume.
Top LDEV Name
Name of the storage system that is reported to the host by the external volume.
The displayed items differ depending on the vendor of the storage system.
Device Name
Displays the number of LDEVs.
Number of LDEVs
Capacity of the external volume.
Capacity
Identification number of the external volume.
Characteristic 1
Identification number of the external volume.
Characteristic 2
Indicates the information about the drive of the external volume.
Drive Info
SATA is displayed when the external volume is the SATA drive of following
storage systems. Operate SATA drives according to the method of operating
each storage system.

SSD is displayed when the external volume is the SSD of following storage
systems. Operate SSDs according to the method of operating each storage
