Completing the PMF CRU Configuration Form
(PMF/IOMF)
To configure the modular tape drive to connect a tape drive to a processor multifunction
(PMF) CRU, you need:

The group, module, and slot hierarchy
•
To identifying FRUs
•
To complete the PMF CRU or IOMF 2 CRU Configuration Form
•
To configure the modular tape drive online by using SCF
Figure 4-1 shows a NonStop Himalaya S-series processor with both PMF CRUs
installed.

(PMF/IOMF)
To connect a tape drive FRU to a PMF CRU, document the configuration of the PMF
CRU using a PMF CRU Configuration Form. This form documents configurable entities
associated with the connectors on a PMF CRU. It also provides information about the
tape drive to be connected to the PMF CRU.
Note. The SCSI passthrough terminator is preinstalled on the differential SCSI port.
