7.3.1.4 Kill Fans on Cool Delay

This feature allows the operator to stop fans when the non-cool side curtain opens.
Controllers with version 6.19 or earlier do not have this option. When "Kill Fans on
Cool Delay" is selected, the controller will not allow fans to run until both curtains
are closed again. Cool Side Display is explained further in the “Features” section of
this manual. To select Kill fans on cool delay, use the change setting up arrow key
to answer “yes” to the prompt, then press “Select feature” up to move to the next
option.

7.3.1.5 Curtain Position at End of Tunnel

This feature specifies whether you want the curtains open, or closed, when the
controller leaves tunnel ventilation. (via the Outside Sensor Control mechanism)
Use the change setting up or down arrow keys to answer open, or closed to the
prompt then press the select features up arrow key to move to the next option.

7.3.1.6 Auxiliary Relay

This setting asks you whether you want to run the auxiliary relay as an artificial
light relay, or as an extra stage (Stage 9). When the display reads “Aux. Relay...”,
use the change setting up arrow key to select artificial light, or the change setting
down arrow key to select stage 9. There will be further discussion of the auxiliary
relay in both the “Program Stages” and the “Program Features” chapters

7.3.1.7 System Errors Count

This section of the Setup System menu gives you a running total of any internal
errors the system might discover.
The controller has software that monitors its own performance. Anytime an error
occurs the count goes up by one. You may reset the total at any time you are in this
feature by pressing Change Setting up.
To enable the system alarm, you must wire the controller up to your alarm system.
The terminals are labeled System Health Monitor Alarm -- Open on Failure,
Common, and Close on Failure. The terminals are located in the center of the relay
board near the top of the board.

7.3.1.8 Sensor Alarm

The sensor alarm is used to detect problems with sensor readings. You set the value
in degrees above or below the temperature in the right hand display (Sensors for
Display) where the alarm will sound.
The alarm will sound in two cases:

1. If any sensor that is used in the controller’s program should read a temperature

above or below the “Sensors for Display” average by the number of degrees you
have set as the sensor alarm range.

2. If any sensor used in the controller’s program reads above 110 degrees Fahrenheit,

or below -10 degrees Fahrenheit the alarm will sound.
Remember that only a sensor used in the controller’s program will cause the alarm
to sound. If you have a sensor that is known to be bad, remove it from the controller
program and it will not affect system performance.
To enable the sensor alarm, you must wire the controller up to your alarm system.
The terminals are labeled System Alarm -- Open on Failure, Common, and Close
on Failure. The terminals are located in the center of the relay board near the top of
the board.
