7.5 Sensors Display

This display allows you to check and see temperatures in any region of your house. This can also alert
you to a problem such as a bad sensor. To find this screen, move through the program features by
pressing the select feature up or down arrow keys until you see a screen that reads S1: (some number),
S2: (Some number), etc. The numbers to the right of the sensor number show the temperature each
reads.

7.6 Stage Temperature Display

When programming stages you can assign any combination of sensors for each stage. You probably
won’t set each stage the same. For this reason, all stages may not read the exact same temperature.
These two screens allow you to check to see where each stage stands. These screens read as follows:
R1: (some number), R2: (Some number), etc. The numbers to the right show the temperature each
stage sees.

8. Operating instructions

8.1 Offset/Differential Method

8.1.1 Offset

The number of degrees above (cool) or below (heat) target temperature where the stage turns
off.

8.1.2 Differential

The difference in degrees between the temperature a stage comes on and the temperature the
stage goes off.

8.1.3 Stage Operation Using Offset/Differential

Heat Mode:

If the Target Temp is set at 80 degrees, Offset set at 4 degrees, and Differential set at 2
degrees, The System will engage Heat Mode when building temperature reaches 74 degrees
and the curtains are closed.

The System will disengage Heat Mode when building temperature reaches 76 degrees.

Cool Mode:

If the Target Temp is set at 80 degrees, Offset set at 5 degrees, and Differential set at 2
degrees, The System will engage the fans when building temperature reaches 87 degrees.
