The specific order of the features in the controller may change from version to version, but setting up
the controller is always done in the same manner--Use the Select feature up arrow to move to the next
feature, then use the change setting up or down arrow keys to adjust the setpoints.
If you keep this in mind, the most difficult part of programming will be deciding which features you
want to use.
7.3 Features
7.3.1 Setup System
When you move through the program features and see “Setup System -- No” use the change
setting up arrow to answer “Yes”. This will lead you into a list of program options. To
program the next few items, you will need to answer yes to the Setup System prompt.
Sensors for display
Unit sensors
Auto kill fans
Kill fans on cool delay
Curtain position at end of tunnel
Auxiliary relay
7.3.1.1 Sensors for Display
The sensors for display option lets you set which sensor, or combination of sensors
appears in the right hand display during operation. This temperature may or may
not reflect the temperature being used for stage operation. For example: If you want
to know a true average of your house temperature, you would select sensors one,
two, and three. This temperature is only used for the display.
To select your sensor combination, use the Change Setting up arrow key and notice
the bottom line of the left display. When the sensor combination you want is shown,
press the select feature up arrow to continue to the next option.
7.3.1.2 Programming Unit Sensors
This option allows you to chose the sensors the controller will use to determine the
proper curtain position. You can use any one sensor, or any possible combination.
After you have entered the Setup system section of the program, press the "Select
Feature" up arrow key until "Unit 1 Sensor(s)" is displayed. Then press the "Change
Setting" up arrow key until you see the combination you wish to use. Pressing the
"Select Feature" up arrow key again will display "Unit 2 Sensor(s)". If using a
second unit follow the same procedure used for Unit 1. Then press “Select Feature”
up to move to the next option.
7.3.1.3 Auto Kill Fans
Auto Kill Fans is a feature which will automatically shut off all fans whenever the
curtain is moving. When the curtains have stopped moving the fans will restart.
This is designed to prevent the excessive wear on the curtains from being sucked
tight against the side of the house while they are being pulled. To select Auto Kill
Fans, use the change setting up arrow key to answer yes to the prompt, then press
“Select feature” up to move to the next option.
