setpoint. When you are finished, press the select feature up arrow to move to the
next prompt.

7.3.2.5 Light Strip Control

This feature is added for those applications which require the restriction of natural
light for production. When light strip control is activated, it will ask for a time to
begin, inches to drop, inches first drop, and end time. "Inches to Drop" is the
distance from the top of the curtain opening to the bottom of the light strip. The
curtains will not rise above this setting during light hours. "Inches first Drop"
should be the distance you desire the curtain to open on the first drop from dark to
light.
When you answer yes to the prompt for Light Strip Control, you will be asked for
the following:

Begin light cycle - Enter the time you would like the curtains to open to allow
light into your building.

Inches to drop curtain - This setting tells the controller how far down your
light strip extends. The controller will not close any farther than this setting
during light hours.

Inches of first drop - This setting tells the controller how far you would like
your curtain to drop on the first run from dark to light.

End light cycle - Enter the time you would like your building to return to
darkness.

If Light Strip Control is used, you will be given the option to use the nite vent
program. This program is explained below.

7.3.2.6 Nite Vent Program

This program is only operative if the light strip control is enabled. When using this
program, the controller will allow natural ventilation during the hours you select.
This will save on energy costs by minimizing the use of power ventilation when it is
dark. The controller will ask for a "Begin Cycle PM" and an "End Cycle AM".
Remember when setting up the system to chose times when the sun is down.

In the example below the controller was programmed with the following settings:

Begin Light Cycle

8:00 a.m.

End Light Cycle

4:00 p.m.

Begin Night Vent

9:00 p.m.

End Night Vent

4:30 a.m.
