Configuring system parameter settings

To change the setting of a system parameter to accommodate your configuration requirements,
use the system-max command. For example, to change the capacity of the IP route table to 2048,
enter the following commands.
Virtual ADX(config)# system-max ip-route 2048
Virtual ADX(config)# write memory
Virtual ADX(config)# exit
Virtual ADX# reload
NOTE
If you accidentally enter a value that is not within the valid range of values, the CLI will display the
valid range for you.
After you make your changes, use the write memory command to save the change to the startup
configuration file, and use the reload command to restart the Brocade Virtual ADX.
Syntax: system-max system_parameter num
Syntax: write memory
Syntax: reload
The system_parameter variable specifies the system parameter. For a list of parameters, refer to
Table 1 .
