4.8 COMMON COMMANDS
4.8.1 System Data Commands
*IDN? - Identification query
The identification query enables unique identification of
the device over the GPIB. This query should always be
the last in a program message. It returns a string with four
fields:
Manufacturer name
Model name
Serial number (0 if not relevant)
Version number
Command
Type: Common Query
Syntax: *IDN?
Response: BK, MODEL 4045B,0,V1.1
4.8.2 Internal Operation Commands
*RST - Reset command
The Reset command performs a device reset. It
causes the device to return to the factory default power up
state.
