The photocurrent, which is proportional to the incoming light, is being digitized in data points that are
separated into 44 µs intervals. Each data point represents the averaged value of light intensity for 44 µs.
Each data point gets a time mark to ensure correct timing. The data points are stored in the trigger
electronics until the software requests the data to transmit.
► Procedure
To record a spectrum for a flash,
1. Click the Setting button ( ). The Photocurrent/Trigger Settings dialog box appears.
2. Set the Trigger Source to Flash and click OK.
3. To run the system, press button.
Adjusting the Photocurrent Amplification and Trigger Level
The photocurrent is amplified by an on board amplifier. Amplification is set in the Photocurrent / Trigger
Settings dialog box (see Chapter 4:
Software Operation , Changing Photocurrent and Trigger Settings).
