Engaging the Key Lock in Capture mode disables all camera operations
except power off, shutter and zoom operations.
As no pictures can be played back or voice memos recorded, etc., this
function is useful for preventing erroneous operation when you ask
someone to take pictures for you.

Press the center button in A
mode.
The quick menu appears.

Use the four-way controller (23)
to select [- Key Lock].

Press the center button.
The Key Lock is engaged and the camera
returns to Capture mode.
Pressing the 4 button during Key Lock
displays - at the top of the LCD monitor,
indicating that the lock is engaged.
To cancel Key Lock, press the center button
to display the quick menu and press the
center button.
