If an image has a voice memo (1p.139) , you can delete the voice memo
without deleting the image.

Enter the Playback mode and use the four-way
controller (45) to choose an image with a voice memo
attached.

Press the { button.

Press the four-way controller (4).
The Delete screen appears.

Use the four-way controller (23)
to select [Delete sound].

Press the 4 button.
The voice memo is deleted.
When the Quick Delete function is set to O(On), the Delete screen
appears with [Delete] already framed.

Press the 3 button in Playback mode.
The [Q Playback] menu appears.

Use the four-way controller (23) to select
[Quick Delete].

Use the four-way controller (45) to select O (On) or
P
(Off).

Press the Q button.
The camera is ready to play back images.
Refer to Step 6 of “How to Use the Menus” (p.45) for other operations
after the setting has been made.
Deleting Voice Memos Only
Select [Delete] in Step 4 above to delete both the image and the
voice memo.
