Duplex
There are two types of duplex.
❖ ❖ ❖ ❖ 1 Sided → → → → 2 Sided
Copies two 1–side pages on one 2–
sided page.
❖ ❖ ❖ ❖ 2 Sided → → → → 2 Sided
Copies one 2–sided page on one 2–
sided page.
❖ ❖ ❖ ❖ 2 Sided → → → → 1 Sided
Copies each side of a 2–sided orig-
inal onto two separate pages.
Note
❒ You cannot use the bypass tray
with this function.
❒ The paper weight that can be used
with duplex copying is 64~105g/m 2
(17~28 lb).
Original Direction and Completed Copies
The resulting copy image will differ
according to the direction in which
you place your original (widthwise
K or lengthwise L ).
*1 The table shows the orientation of im-
ages on the front and back of copies,
not the direction of delivery.
