Use these instructions to install the device on a TCP/IP network using Web Image Monitor
Type 103.
Installation Procedure
There are two stages required to install the device on a TCP/IP network using Web Image
Monitor Type 103:
¾ Configure the Type 103
This procedure explains how to use Web Image Monitor Type 103 to configure
the device.
¾ Test Print
A print job should be submitted to ensure the device has been installed and
configured correctly.
Configure the Type 103
NOTE: The TCP/IP settings for the device will have been setup when completing
the Enabling Web Image Monitor Type 103 section.
To complete the installation of the device, perform these steps:
¾ Enable Web Image Monitor Type 103 (see “Enabling Internet Services” on page 3-5).
¾ At the Web Image Monitor Type 103 Home Page for the Type 103, select the [Network
Settings] tab.
¾ In the [TCP/IP] field, Ethernet will be the default setting.
Select the checkbox to enable TCP/IP.
Choose the [IP Address Assignment Method] required.
NOTE: DHCP automatically assigns IP addresses and is the default setting. If the
IP Address needs to be edited but is unavailable, choose Static in [IP Address
Assignment Method] and continue.
Enter the [IP Address].
Enter the [Subnet Mask].
Enter the [Gateway Address].
