Five stones operates in flip open mode only. Closing the flip will
shut the game down.
Play Five stones
To start the game
1. Select the Five stones icon .
The board is shown.
2. Select the New Game button or select Five stones > New
game .
3. Select:
– Single or two players.
– The single player has the black stone (the player starts the
game) or the white stone (the P800 starts the game).
– Whether the rule on forbidden moves should be used.
To play the game
• Depending on the selection when starting the game, the
player with black stones starts the game.
• The icon to the left under the board indicates the type of
game played:
– The P800 plays with black stones.
– The user plays with black stones.
– Two users are playing.
• The colour of the icon in the middle under the board
indicates who should play the next stone.
• The icon to the right under the board indicates whether the
rule on forbidden moves is going to be used
or not .
• To remove the last move, select .
• To re-do the removed move, select .
• To display a hint on the next move, select . The suggested
stone will be flashing.
Settings
There are three skill levels. If you end up winning all the games,
it may be time to select a more difficult level.
To set skill level
1. Select Five stones >Level.
2. Select the level you think may suit your abilities.
3. Select Done .
