4.2 Front Panel Connectors
4.2.1 USB Connector (J12)

The MPCBL0001 SBC has one vertical USB connector that supports USB 1.1. USB connector JX
is available at the front panel, as shown in
Figure 13, “MPCBL0001 SBC Connector Locations” on
page 80 . The figure shows its position on the board. See Table 47, “USB Connector (J12) Pin
Assignments” on page 87 for pinout information.
4.2.2 Serial Port Connector (J17)
A single serial port interface is provided on the front edge of the card using an RJ-45 style shielded
connector. See
Figure 13, “MPCBL0001 SBC Connector Locations” on page 80 for its position on
the board. The default connector is an 8-pin RJ-45.
