By default when the Answering Machine responds to
an incoming call, the caller’s voice can be heard
through the speaker of your cellular phone. This will
allow you to monitor the incoming message and
determine if you wish to respond to the call
immediately. If you prefer, you can use this feature to
prevent the caller’s voice from being routed to the
speaker of your cellular phone.
Note that if your phone is being used with an external
speaker, such as in a vehicular adapter, the caller’s
voice will be heard through the external speaker(s) if
this feature is turned on.
