from oldest to most recent.
If there are any messages recorded,
the display will show:
where XX is the number of messages
which have not yet been heard and
YY is the total number of messages.
If there are no messages, the display

If the Answering Machine is full, the

followed by

which have not yet been heard and

Once the answering machine is full,
you will be unable to receive any
additional messages until you clear
the current messages.
