CAUTION!

Because the PRIMERGY BX900 S1 system unit is large and
heavy, at least three people are needed to safely mount it in the
rack or remove it from the rack.

Please observe the safety information and notes on rack installation
in the

chapter "Important notes"

as of

page 36

Before you install the system unit in the rack, remove all
server blades, storage blades, connection blades, all power supply
units, the fan modules and the dummy modules to reduce the weight
of the system unit.

Only lift or carry the system unit by the handles on the long sides.

Never lift or carry the system unit by the handles on the front or back.

Refer to the "Rack Mounting Guide" for more detailed explanation and for
other support systems.

Ê

Make a note of the positions of the individual server blades and storage
blades, the connection blades, power supply units, fan modules and dummy
modules in the system unit for reinstallation.

Ê

Remove the server blades, storage blades, power supply units, fan units,
connection blades, management blades and dummy modules from the
system unit. For assembly instructions see chapter

"Hot-plug components"

on page 83
