OVERVIEW
The 828x is a hybrid Thunderbolt™/USB2 audio
interface for Mac and Windows with on-board
effects and mixing that offers 28 inputs and 30
outputs at 44.1 or 48 kHz. Both analog and digital
I/O are offered at sample rates up to 96 kHz, and
analog recording and playback is offered at rates up
to 192 kHz. All inputs and outputs can be accessed
simultaneously. The 828x consists of a standard
19-inch, single-space, rack-mountable I/O unit
that connects directly to a computer via a standard
Thunderbolt or USB cable.
The 828x offers the following main features:
