COPIER MANAGEMENT
● Turning the timer ON/OFF
1. Set the timer mode. (page 67)
2. To switch the timer ON, touch the "
❑ ON" key.
* To switch it off, touch the " ❑ OFF" key.
3. Touch the "END" key.
The touch panel will return to the basic screen.
4 Making copies after copier has been stopped by timer
When the energy saver indicator lights up and all the other displays on the operation
panel go out, the week timer has operated. When this happens, carry out the following
procedure in order to make copies.
1. Press the energy saver key. The energy saver indicator will blink.
* Warm-up has begun. Wait a while.
* Another way to start warm-up is to turn the main switch OFF (O), then ON (
❘ ) again.
2. When warm-up is over, make copies with the usual procedure.
3. When copying is finished, press the Energy saver key again. The energy saver
indicator will light continuously, and the machine will be stopped.
(3) The default settings
The state the copier is in at end of warm-up and when the Reset key is pressed is called
the "initial mode". The functions and values that are automatically pre-set for the initial
mode are called the "default settings". "COPY DEFAULT" and "MACHINE DEFAULT"
can be selected in the default setting. They can be changed as desired to suit the
copying operations to be performed.
