(2) Week timer
ON (operative)/OFF (rest) is switched automatically at specified time in the day of the
week from Monday to Sunday. Set the copier to come on and warm up ready for the start
of work in the morning, and set it to be switched off automatically in the evening in case
no-one remembers to switch it off.
* When using the week timer, do not remove the power plug from its power source and
be sure to leave the main switch ON ( ❘ ).
2 How to make settings in the timer mode
1. Touch the "SPECIAL" key.
The management mode selection screen will appear.
2. Touch the "WEEK TIMER" key.

● Setting the time
Set the day of the week and the present time. Unless set correctly, the timer will not
triggered operations at the expected time.

● Programming the week

Set the times at which the copier is to switch ON and OFF on each day of the week. Then
leave the main switch ON (
❘ ). The copier will switch ON/OFF at the times set on each
day of the week.

● Cancelling the timer
function
When the copier is to be out of use for a whole day (holiday, etc.), set "Cancelling the
timer function" in advance for the day in question. The copier will remain OFF the whole
of the day set. On the same day of the following week, the timer will resume switching the
copier on/off at the times originally set.

● Turning the timer
ON/OFF If times are set using the "Setting the timer", either switch the timer ON to actuate it, or
turn it OFF when/if it is not required.
