(1) Copy management
Set 4-digit ID-code (management code) numbers for up to 1000 departments, and
manage the total number of copies made by each department.
Limits for the number of copies to be made by each department can be set.

2 How to make settings in the copy management mode
1. Touch the "SPECIAL" key.
The management mode selection screen will appear.

● Registering new ID-
codes
Manage use of the copier by assigning 4-digit ID-codes to the departments in your
organization, and limits for the number of copies to be made by each. ID-codes for up to
1000 departments can be registered. Limits are set in units of 1,000 sheets, up to a
maximum of 250,000. Entering "0" enables unlimited copying.
When a department reaches its limit, the copier will not make any more copies for it.

● Deleting ID-codes Use this to delete registered ID-codes. 63
● Altering limits
Use this to alter limits for the copies to be made by each department, without need to
delete and re-register ID-codes.

● Clearing copy counts
Use this to clear all the copy counts for the various departments at one go after a suitable
period of time. Individual copy counts cannot be cleared, however.

● Viewing copy counts
Use this to view the number of copies. The total number of copies can be viewed, as well
as paper size and ID-code.

● Printing copy
management report
Use this to print out the number of copies made as report by ID-code. 65
● Turning copy
management ON/OFF Turn copy management on when required (to apply the settings made). Turn it off when
not required.
