(8) DDNS
As part of the DNS system, the Dynamic Domain Name System (DDNS) service dynamically
updates the IP addresses of the host names and allocates fixed domain names to systems
connected with dynamic IP addresses. This way, the DDNS service ensures the user’s access to
the network using the same DNS name regardless of the changes in the IP address.
Workhorse/Premier Series provide a dynamic DNS to ensure URL access in a dynamic IP
environment. Its built-in web server feature enables remotely monitoring images through the
Internet anytime.
Go to {DDNS} using the {Network Setup} menu and arrow (W X) buttons and press the
[Select]
button.
Enable/Disable the use of DDNS
using the
arrow (W X) buttons as shown below:
Register the domain name registered in the DNS server.
After accessing the DDNS server, register the domain name and enter a unique URL.
