Connecting the fault signal relay
The contact is designed as an N/O contact. Maximum contact load: DC 30 V/1 A,AC: 277 V/1 A
Connecting the fault signal relay
↻ AC,DC, and communication circuit entries must be fabricated with trade size 1/2-1” KO. KACO requires that you use
↻ UL 514B watertight conduit connection at conduit entrances..
1.
Thread the connection cable through the hole.
2. Connect the connection cable to the connection terminals.

Starting up the inverter
DANGER
Lethal voltages are still present in the terminals and leads of the inverter even after the inverter
has been switched off and disconnected.
Severe injuries or death if the leads and terminals in the inverter are touched.
Only authorised electricians who are approved by the supply grid operator may start up the inverter.
7.6.1
Switching on the inverter
↻ The inverter has been mounted and electrically installed.
↻ The PV array is supplying a voltage > 250 V.
1.
Connect the grid voltage using the external circuit breakers and the AC disconnect switch if the optional PSD is
provided.
2. Connect the PV array using the external DC disconnect or the optional DC disconnect with the PSD (0 to 1).
»
The inverter begins to operate.
»
During the initial start-up: Follow the instructions on the inverter display..
