NOTICE
Install the inverter in accordance with NFPA 70 and additional local requirements.
Opening the connection area - XP10U H4 / H6 and XP10U H4 / H6 PSD
↻ You have mounted the inverter on the wall.
1.
Without PSD - unscrew the four T30 Torx screws from the front side of the connection cover.
With PSD - insert blade into PSD cover lock and twist counter clockwise to release.
2. Turn the AC disconnect to the off position to release the cover interlock.
3. Remove the connection cover.
4. Terminate both AC and DC circuits in accordance with the NFPA 70 and other local requirements..

Knock-outs (KO) and circuit entry
7.2.1
Accessing the XP10U H4 / H6 inverter AC and DC circuit connections
The inverter is shipped with a gland plate which seals the inverter electronics. You must remove the gland plate and have
holes fabricated to the dimensions of the desired trade size knock outs from 1/2” to 1”. The XP10U inverter is NEMA 4 rated.
KACO requires that you use UL 514B watertight conduit connection at the conduit entrance.
In order to avoid interference between current-carrying leads and interface cables, adhere to the following drawings:
