7.1 Device Replacement
7.1.1 Replacing Inverters in the Plant
Procedure See
1 Note the total energy value of the previous inverter:
• For inverters with a display, read the total energy value
(E-Total) of the inverter on its display.
• For inverters without a display, detect plants with
Sunny Explorer and read the total energy value of the inverter
in the Sunny Explorer.

3 For a new inverter, set the NetID of the plant:
• For inverters with integrated Bluetooth, set the NetID in the
inverter.
• For inverters with retrofitted SMA Bluetooth Piggy-Back, set the
NetID at the fitted SMA Bluetooth Piggy-Back.
