Overview of the Intuition XG Portal’s menu commands
With the exception of the L OGIN page, the I NTUITION XG P ORTAL always features a menu
bar in the top banner that allows you to navigate through the application (figure 4-4 ).

The five(5) menus at the top of the Intuition XG Portal provide access to commands and/or
actions that allow you to view information about the device, configure settings, and/or
perform some basic control actions. The following list identifies the function of each of the
menus and their associated commands:
Home Returns the Intuition XG Portal immediately to its home page, which
displays the following information:
•
S OFTWARE VERSION : The version of the Vertigo Suite that the device
is currently running.
• H OST NAME : The host name that is currently assigned to the
Intuition XG device. To change to host name, select
S
ETUP >H OSTNAME S ETUP from the menu bar.
• IP A DDRESS : The IP Address that is currently assigned to the Intuition
XG device. To change to IP Address, select S ETUP >N ETWORK S ETUP
from the menu bar (see page 4-9 for more information).
Maintenance The M AINTENANCE menu features the following commands that allow you
to perform a soft shutdown or restart the Intuition XG device remotely.
•
S YSTEM RESTART : Allows you to restart the Intuition XG remotely from
a workstation. See page 4-7 for more information.
• S YSTEM SHUTDOWN : Allows you to shutdown the Intuition XG
remotely from a workstation. See page 4-6 for more information.
Diagnostics The D IAGNOSTICS menu features the following commands:
• R UNNING PROCESSES : Allows you to view a listing of the processes
currently running on the Intuition XG device. See page 4-8 for more
information.
• D IAGNOSTIC ZIP FILE : Currently not supported. Gathers log files,
configuration files and registry settings that are related to the device.
This data is a zipped into a file, which can be saved or viewed
immediately.
