Basic Editing Operations

1 Select a clip, and drag and drop it onto the destination.
Clip operations and results when being moved are dependent on the editing mode.
Editing Modes
When you select clips over multiple tracks and move them to the area where the corresponding type of track does not
exist, a track is automatically added.
Dividing Clips
You can divide clips at the timeline cursor position. After dividing a clip, you can handle its divided segments as
independent clips.
1 Select a clip to be divided.
You can also select multiple clips.
2 Move the timeline cursor to the position where the clip is to be divided.
3 Click [Add Cut Point (Selected Tracks)] on the timeline.
The clip is divided at the timeline cursor position.

Adjusting the Length of Clips
Change the length (duration) of clips. You can trim the Out point side of a clip by the following procedure. To also adjust
the In point, trim the clip or delete the part after dividing the clip.
1 Right-click on a clip, and click [Duration].
The [Duration] dialog box appears.
