Configuring Session Pools
Sessions may be pre-assigned to TN3270 clients or gathered together into a pool of
sessions where they are doled out one at a time to clients requesting a session from the
pool. The CCA-3074 supports multiple pools. When using pools, clients may be
connected to those pools in a number of different ways:
 The CCA-3074 can be configured to automatically connect a client to a pool at
connection time.
 The clients may be configured with the name of the pool that they must request at
connect time in the client’s LUNAME field.
 Clients may connect to a pool from a list of resources at connection time.
Before you define pools, you should have defined the CUs and the sessions that belong to
them. To define or change pool definitions, select the [Pools] button from the TN3270
Configuration panel.
