– Microroughness on the finished veneering surface is conductive to plaque accumulation. Therefore, polish
carefully.
– Pay particular attention to crown margins, interdental areas, occlusal surfaces and the basal rest of
pontics.
Finishing / Polishing
After completion of the polymerization/ tempering
procedure, completely remove SR Gel from the restoration
using running water.
Finish the restoration with cross-cut tungsten carbide burs,
fine diamonds and flexible disks.
Fit the restoration on the model and adjust proximal and
occlusal contact points. After that, create a lifelike shape and
surface structure, such as incremental lines and convex /
concave areas.
For prepolishing, smooth out the surface of the natural
structure, as well as the marginal ridges with rubber
polishers and silicone polishing wheels. High-gloss polishing is
performed with a goat hair brush, cotton or leather buff, as
well as Universal Polishing Paste.
Polish carefully using customary polishers.
Completed SR Adoro restoration on the model. Homogeneous surface with true-to-nature shade effect.
