4. In the Settings window, browse to the dq_dqs_ex.v file in the project folder. Click Open, then Add to add the file to the

project.

5. Click OK.

The top-level file is now added to the project. You have now created the complete design file shown in

Figure 1 on page 18

. You

can view the block diagram after compiling the project inthe RTL Viewer.

is not included in the project file.

Implement the DDR I/O Interface Design

This section describes how to assign the EP2C5T144C6 device to the project and compile the project.

1. With the dq_dqs_ex.qar project open, on the Assignments menu, click Device. The device page of the Settings dialog box

appears.

2. In the Family list, select Cyclone II.

3. In the Target device list, select Specific device selected in ‘Available devices’ list.

4. In the Available devices list, select EP2C5T144C6.

5. Leave the default settings for the other options on the Settings page and click OK.

6. On the Processing menu, click Start Compilation, compile the design.
