irrigation water.
NOTE: - the overdose and underdose thresholds are not the same (set
from panel 30 VOLUME DOSING ALARMS).
Both alarms are triggered if the overdose/underdose alarm trigger
condition is TRUE for more than 3 dosing cycles!

10. FERTILIZER WASTE ALARM:

This alarm is triggered if the counter of an fertilizer is changing state
(transition), when this should not happen, it means that the fertilizer is
flowing when it should not. To trigger this alarm more than 3 transitions
for one fertilizer must be detected when the controller is in the following
state:
- is already in STOP mode
- no program is running
- the current running program is in pre/post irrigation
As it describes a malfunction situation the controller is automatically put
in STOP. The user intervention is required!

− THE CONTROLLER DOESN’T FUNCTION

Check to insure that the proper voltage is applied to the controller. After
connecting the controller to the power supply (wall outlet), the unit should
initiate and the Hanna logo should appear on the LCD. If this does not occur
you should check the main fuse located next to the power input connections.
If changing the fuse does not solve the problem, call a Hanna Instruments
Technical Support.
− THE ALARM LED IS ON

this could be caused by the fact that the fuse of sector relays is burned

and the controller is attempting to open a valve (activate a relay).

this can indicate that a software alarm has occurred. Check panel

C23 (ALARM) to determine what type of alarm condition is active.
− MIXING TANK EMPTY

Check water level in mixing tank. The controller will not function without a
proper water level in the mixing tank or a reliable source of water. Check the
integrity of the tank and the water supply lines.
− PH SENSOR OUT OF RANGE

This indicates that the controller cannot adjust the pH value of the process
within the specified range. Check panel S36
