In this chapter the main functions of the Fertigation Controller are pre-
sented. For a better understanding see the typical installation schemes
utilized for irrigation and fertilization presented in the Appendixes, Instal-
lation Block Diagram.

The Fertigation Controller can control up to 24 sectors (one valve per
sector) for each of the ten irrigation programs:
24 valves (sectors) can be selected specifying the sector’s number and the
desired value of irrigation time or volume for a specified irrigation pro-
gram using Panel S43
S43 S43 S43 S43 (SET SECTORS). The panel displays the number of
set sectors for the respective irrigation program.
Panel C13
C13 C13 C13 C13 (SECTOR STATE) displays the current status (set value plus
irrigation extension and “Done” time or volume value) for the selected
irrigation program and sector.
Irrigation can be controlled by time or volume – irrigation control mode
can be switched between time and volume using panel S55

MODE).
Each irrigation program can be started by:
• TIME: TIME: TIME: TIME: TIME: 1 to 6 different timetables (values) per program can be set
using panel S33 S33 S33 S33 S33 (SET START TIME). “Start cond” must be the selected
option on panel S32 S32 S32 S32 S32 (START CONDITION).

signed the external tank (level indication) input which can start the speci-
fied irrigation program – this option is set using panel S32

DITION).

(PROG MAN STOP).
Each irrigation program can be repeated a specified number of repeti-
tions. The number of repetitions as well as pause time between two repeti-
tions can be specified using panel S34
S34 S34 S34 S34 (PROGRAM REPEATS).
Each irrigation program can be given a priority in relation to others (6
priority levels). Priorities and maximum open sectors per group can be
specified for each program and can be set using panel S31
