The Confirmation window is prompted before each mode is started
(when selected in Application Settings/General). You can select Hide
diagram next time which will not display the connection diagram the
next time you run the test.
However, you can view the connection diagram at any time by tapping
Hookup Diagram in either the Spot or Spectrum window. In this case,
the test will not automatically start when you tap the OK button to
close the Confirmation window.
Spot
The Spot function is a continuous mode of operation measuring the
crosstalk for a specific frequency selected by you, similar to the method
used by the Send Tone test. The Spot function displays and updates results
in real time, until you stop the test. The last valid results including pass/fail
status then remain displayed.
To access the Spot page:
1. From the Copper main menu Test Groups, select Noise test
.
2. From the Tests menu, select NEXT test to start the test.
By default, the Spot page opens.
