ERROR CODE CAUSE REMEDY
5.0 TASC ERROR MESSAGES, COMMON CONDITIONS AND SOLUTIONS
FIRST Check the battery connections, this is the MOST common fault.
A required constant is set to zero.
Sometimes this is caused by poor power
connections at the battery.
Flow control valve is fully open. Travel-
ing too fast for desired application.
Nozzles too small for rate, speed and
boom width. (Boom pressure reads high).
Too much product being diverted to
sparge.
Strainer or nozzle screens plugged.
(Boom pressure low - Main strainer.)
(Boom pressure high. - Nozzle screens.)
If displayed at normal operating speeds
this may indicate a bad spot in the pump
tubing which causes the pump to stall.
Pump tubing too small.
Speed and rates too low to do an accurate
job of product delivery.
Error three indicates the console is not
receiving any pulses from the flowmeter.
Check for actual flow in the product line,
if none:
Err 0, Pump ?: Reset Cal# for that channel.
The affected channel is shut down.
Err 0, Dist. Cal#: Reset distance Cal#. Sprayer
will shut down.
Err 0, Boom #: Reset boom widths (including
boom width C.
Slow down, or check hydraulic flow to an
hydraulically driven pump.
Change to larger nozzles.
Reduce sparging or turn up product pump
output.
Clean screens.
Inspect tubing and replace if necessary. If
replaced, re-calibrate pump before using.
Change to larger tubing.
Speed up, change to smaller tubes or lower
capacity pumps.
Check Flow control/Boom connections on the
back of the console. Secure if loose.
Turn product pump ON.
Check for empty tank.
Verify that the boom valves are opening.
Check for power, ground, and proper signal
polarity.
Check for correct operation of hydraulic valve
controlling the pump motor. Check for power,
ground, and proper signal polarity.
