where no value is present on the document being captured then marking the field as
an exception will allow you to continue.

When a field has been marked as an exception, the field background turns green.
You can unmark the field by selecting the Field Exception function again.
It is possible to have more than one type of exception for each field. For example, you
may have one exception which corresponds to ‘data not present on the document’
and another for ‘data present but illegible’. These will typically have different
background colors. Selecting the Field Exception function cycles through the
exceptions and back to no exception.
Duping Fields
Field values can be duped (copied) from the previous document. Typically this is
useful on fields which have the same value across several or many documents in a
batch.
Field duping can take place automatically or manually. Fields which have been
duped are displayed with a blue background.

Dupe This Field [F8]
This function copies the corresponding value from the previous document into the
current field.
Auto Dupe Fields
This function turns the automatic duping of fields on and off. Any fields that have
been configured with duping enabled have their values copied from the previous
document if no value is already present in the field.
